Whether you’re a local or visiting Palm Beach for the first time, one thing is certain, Palm Beach is the epitome of luxury in South Florida, which is usually showcased in its hospitality, fashion, and food. From upscale dining rooms to cozy hidden gems, Palm Beach offers a culinary scene that effortlessly blends elegance, creativity, and coastal charm. Although it’s hard to go wrong with most places, some restaurants excel more than others when it comes to food quality, creativity, ambiance/decor, and personality.
So, here are my top 10 best restaurants in Palm Beach area (in no particular order) and why I think they’re worth visiting:
1| Buccan
Palm Beach
buccanpalmbeach.com
Type of Food: Inventive American small plates
Ambiance: Lively, chic, see-and-be-seen
Favorites: Short Rib Empanadas, Butter “Chikin”, Iberico Pork Tomahawk, and Petite Chocolate Chip Cookies

Buccan is an iconic spot close to Worth Avenue, a favorite to locals and visitors, for a good reason. The open kitchen, warm lighting, and stylish decor make it feel upscale yet unpretentious. The menu leans heavily on bold flavors and shareable plates. If youโre into creative, globally inspired dishes, Buccan is a must. Try their short rib empanadas, tuna crisps, and butter “chikin” as appetizers. The beautifully executed Iberico Pork Tomahawk is a great entree choice. And of course, the Petite Chocolate Chip Cookies are a simple, yet salty and delicious option for dessert. During the day, make sure to stop by the Buccan Sandwich Shop for some of the most unique sandwiches like their Beef Carpaccio sandwich.

2| Echo
Palm Beach
thebreakers.com/dining/echo
Type of Food: Asian fusion (Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean)
Ambiance: Sleek, modern, with moody lighting
Favorites: Miso Sea Bass, Korean Ramen, and Kalbi Wagyu Flatiron Steak

If you are looking for a taste of the best Asian cuisine, Echo Palm Beach is the ideal location. The restaurant will take you to a chic, urban environment, while enjoying their extensive selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes. The contrast between the vivid red and dark finishes introduces a modern dramatic evening atmosphere.
Start with cocktails from their exotic bar selection and martinis list. Then work your way into the sushi bar section or dine family-style with bold flavors from their menu. Whether you’re going for a romantic dinner or drinks with friends, Echo has that effortlessly cool vibe.

3| Seafood Bar
Palm Beach
thebreakers.com/dining/seafood-bar
Type of Food: Upscale seafood
Ambiance: Oceanfront, relaxed luxury with a nautical touch
Favorites: Oysters, Blue Crab Nachos, and Crab Cake Dinner

It’s not a trip to Palm Beach without a visit to the iconic The Breakers. This historic luxury resort is one of Henry Flagler’s most notorious staples in Florida and even if you are not staying, one may visit the hotel and choose from their several restaurants. Personally, I like to grab a drink at HMF and head to dinner at the Seafood Bar…for some amazing seafood of course! As you walk in the restaurant, you are surrounded by a decor that resembles the interior of a modern yacht. There is an actual aquarium built into the bar, which adds to the panoramic ocean views.

Start your meal with east coast oysters, stone crab claws, or their famous Blue Crab Nachos that are absolutely a must to share with the table. Then, you can’t really go wrong with their ‘specialties’ selection, but their Crab Cake Dinner and Pecan Crusted Grouper are both outstanding options. If there is still space for desserts, their Key Lime Pie is nicely creamy while still having a light consistency and smooth flavor.
4| Cafรฉ Boulud
Palm Beach
thebraziliancourt.com/cafe-boulud
Type of Food: French fine dining with a modern twist
Ambiance: Elegant, refined, and intimate
Favorites: Saucisse Provencale, Dover sole, Wagyu Bavette

Cafรฉ Boulud, located at the Brazilian Court Hotel, is a classic French restaurant from New York’s Upper East Side that never goes out of style. The service is impeccable, the wine list extensive, and the food? Absolutely exquisite. Itโs a perfect choice for special occasions or a quiet, sophisticated evening out. Some favorites from their brunch menu are the Wild Maine Lobster Roll, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and of course their Poached Eggs Florentine with smoked salmon and hollandaise. From their dinner menu, I love their Saucisse Provencale, the Dover Sole and the Wagyu Bavette. Their menu is everchanging so don’t be surprised if you find new items on your next visit.
Cafรฉ Boulud hosts occasional dinner events with different tasting menus. The restaurant also offers ‘The Afternoon Tea’ with a prix fixe selection of sandwiches, pastries, and bubbles.

5| The Honor Bar
Palm Beach
honorbar.com/locations/palmbeach
Type of Food: Upscale American classics
Ambiance: Cozy, polished, and warm
Favorites: Emerald Kale & Rotisserie Chicken salad and Shimp Louis Salad

Another Palm Beach classic is The Honor Bar at the Royal Poinciana Mall. If you don’t want to deal with reservations, this small, upscale-casual restaurant is the perfect spot to walk in and enjoy some classic cocktails and appetizers highlighting American cuisine. The Honor Bar is a side restaurant to Palm Beach Grill, a modern upscale restaurant with a larger dining room. The Honor Bar showcases an open kitchen with a dark interior and cozy booths. Some of my favorite items are the Deviled Eggs, Emerald Kale and Rotisserie Chicken Salad, Shrimp Louie, and Tuna Tartare. They make fantastic dirty martini’s as well.

6| Coolinary and The Parched Pig
Palm Beach Gardens

Type of Food: Seasonal American with a creative edge
Ambiance: Hip, rustic-chic, and friendly
Favorites: Creekstone Prime Skirt Steak

Coolinary is one of the most exciting dining destinations in Palm Beach Gardens. Coolinary leans toward upscale comfort food with thoughtful presentation. It is also perfect for drinks, small plates, and a more laid-back evening. The menu is everchanging, so you will always see different items every time you visit. However, some of their dishes do remain in the spotlight some longer. The restaurant is so detailed oriented with every single item in their menu, anything you order will be rich in flavor with wonderful presentation.

7| The Butcher’s Club
Palm Beach Gardens
pgaresort.com/dining/the-butchers-club
Type of Food: Modern steakhouse with flair
Ambiance: Swanky, retro-inspired, and stylish
Favorites: Housemade Parker House Rolls, Wagyu Filet Mignon

Located inside PGA National, The Butcherโs Club is where old-school steakhouse vibes meet contemporary cool. Chef Jeremy Ford has created a menu thatโs indulgent yet refined, with some playful touches that elevate the experience. Make sure you start with their Housemade Parker House Rolls – one of the most delicious and fluffy rolls served in a restaurant. And of course, the Royal Cuts are the highlight of the menu – the 10 oz. Wagyu Filet Mignon has that excellent, melt-in-your-mouth consistency. Make sure you accompany your entree with some of their sides like the Gratitude Garden Mushrooms or the Roasted Beets. They also offer experiences like the Swinging Wagyu Tomahawk if you are filling a little extravagant.

8| Stage Kitchen & Bar
Palm Beach Gardens
stagekitchenandbar.com
Type of Food: Global fusion, bold and inventive
Ambiance: Vibrant, modern, and energetic
Favorites: Spicy Tuna Bomb, Patatas Bravas, Wood Grilled Spanish Octopus

Stage is where you go when you want your taste buds to be surprised. The dishes are inspired by flavors from around the world, highlighting Indian cuisine especially, but grounded in technique and quality ingredients. The menu rotates seasonally, but everything Iโve tried here has been a win.
If youโre looking for a place to start, the spicy tuna bomb, patatas bravas, and wood-grilled Spanish octopus are standout dishes that capture the spirit of the menu. The spicy tuna bomb is an appetizer that offers a bright, layered heat that feels both playful and precise; the wood-grilled octopus arrives with a tender bite and a smoky depth that lingers; and the patatas bravas are wonderful side dish for any of your entrees and strike that ideal balance of crisp edges. All dishes from their menu showcase the creativity and precision that make Stage such a standout.
9| Renato’s
Palm Beach
renatospalmbeach.com
Type of Food: Classic Italian
Ambiance: Romantic, old-world elegance with a garden courtyard
Favorites: Ravioli ai Funghi, Spaghettini Fra diavolo, Ossobucco Milanese

Tucked away in Via Mizner, Renatoโs feels like a timeless Italian escape. The courtyard dining area is one of the most romantic settings in all of Palm Beach. Pair that with beautifully executed Italian dishes and attentive service, and youโve got a true gem.
The menu displays a thorough selection of both traditional and unique Italian plates with the restaurant’s own twist and personality. One could easily dine here multiple times to get a taste of at least one item from the appetizers, salads, soups, pastas, and main entrees. But the real superstars are the ‘Pasta & Risotto’ dishes that are worth trying at least the first time. Start with an appetizer like their Carpaccio Di Manzo and a salad such as the Insalata Di Pere to share with the table. On their pasta section, Ravioli ai Funghi (mushroom ravioli) has a delicious creamy and earthy note that accentuates the black truffle caviar on top. The entrees also have a diverse selection of beef, veal, chicken, fish, and vegetarian options.

10| La Goulue
Palm Beach
lagouluepalmbeach.com
Type of Food: French brasserie
Ambiance: Chic Parisian vibe with Palm Beach touch
Favorites: Le Souffle au Fromage, Soupe A L’Oignon, Confit de Canard

This French brasserie in Royal Palm Way is the quintessential classic fine dining spot that offers exquisite French dishes such as escargot, souffle, foie gras, duck confit, and many other favorites. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and cozy, but also very vibrant due to its popularity. For appetizers, you don’t want to miss their award-winning Le Souffle au Fromage with gruyere and white truffle oil, or their Soupe A L’Oignon Gratinee if you are a French onion soup lover. Move on to the seafood bar for some fresh east coast oysters with cucumber-green apple mignonette. For the entree, their Confit de Canard with truffle frisee is a perfect combination of salty, earthy and crispy.
